Across the world, 50,000 people are forced to flee their homes each day as a result of conflict and oppression. Over half of these refugees are children.
Houston is one of the country’s leading cities in refugee resettlement, but resources to get refugees started in their new lives are limited. Settling into a new home can be very difficult, particularly for young people and those who have suffered trauma in their early lives. That’s where Amaanah steps in to help, with services that assist with education, healthcare and overall wellbeing. We need your help to support your new neighbors.
