OUR VOLUNTEERS GOT TOGETHER TO PROVIDE HUNDREDS OF WINTER JACKETS TO KIDS IN THE REFUGEE COMMUNITY

When winter eventually arrives in Houston, it can be a challenge for a community that’s used to wearing shorts and flip-flops.

That’s why Amaanah hosted over 300 families at the Baker Ripley Campus in Gulfton to hand out jackets and Christmas gifts, ready for the Holiday season.

Over fifty volunteers helped to organize and deliver the event, alongside Amaanah’s staff and leadership.

It was the final event of 2022.
