Rezhamin Amin serves as the Community Liaison at Amaanah Services, where he oversees neighbor-facing activities and volunteer services that strengthen connections between the organization and the communities it serves. With a background in law and coordination, Rezhamin brings both professional expertise and lived experience to his role.

Before joining Amaanah, Rezhamin worked as a liaison officer with the Department of Refugees, successfully connecting hundreds of families relocating from Pakistan to Afghanistan with national and international organizations. His work built trusted networks that ensured aid reached the right recipients. After resettling in Houston, Rezhamin joined Amaanah as a mentor supporting students in Houston Independent School District schools. His dedication and skill quickly led him to broader responsibilities within the organization.

In his current role, Rezhamin leads neighbor engagement and volunteer programming, ensuring that services are accessible, responsive, and impactful. He also continues to serve the Afghan Houston Islamic Community as a volunteer coordinator, facilitating collaboration with government and nonprofit agencies. Rezhamin’s work reflects his commitment to building bridges of trust, dignity, and opportunity for newcomer families.
