Amaanah Ambassador Program

we’re looking for leaders.

We depend on an amazing community of committed volunteers. They are the heart and soul of our events and of everything we do. 

When we’re running large events, we rely on hundreds of volunteers, many of whom are young or new to the organization. To help our staff manage things, we have been fortunate to be able to depend on a group of experienced senior volunteers.

These are the Amaanah Ambassadors. 

Ambassadors volunteer in leadership capacities to help manage other volunteers and make our events successful.

They also take on a more active role as advocates for Amaanah in the community.

Background

Need is increasing. Houston is anticipating 5,000 new refugees to come to Houston this year. We need people with languages such as Arabic, Swahili, Dari, Pashto, Spanish, Ukrainian and others.

There are many different ways to apply your talents to Amaanah, from helping with events to mentoring and supporting young people. We’re here to talk to you whenever you’re ready to join our volunteer team.
