Amaanah Ambassadors

Amaanah Refugee Services is proud to announce the launch of the Amaanah Ambassadors Program, an exciting initiative designed to empower dedicated volunteers to take on leadership roles within the organization’s various volunteer programs.

Thirteen passionate individuals have signed up as Amaanah Ambassadors, stepping into key roles that will help drive community engagement, support refugee families, and expand the organization’s impact across its service areas.

The Amaanah Ambassadors will be at the forefront of volunteer efforts, leading teams in everything from community outreach and fundraising events to hands-on support programs for refugee families. As the heart of Amaanah’s volunteer-driven initiatives, these ambassadors will serve as champions for the cause, ensuring that the organization’s mission to empower refugees through education, support, and social integration reaches even more people.

“The Amaanah Ambassadors program is a vital step forward in expanding our reach and deepening our connection with the community,” said Ahmad Alaswad, Amaanah’s Executive Director.

“We are incredibly proud of the volunteers who have chosen to take on these leadership roles. Their commitment not only strengthens our ability to serve more refugee families but also inspires others to get involved. These ambassadors will play a critical role in creating sustainable, long-term support for our programs, allowing us to make an even greater impact.”

The Ambassadors Program is a natural extension of Amaanah’s mission to foster community engagement and create opportunities for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of refugees. Each ambassador will work closely with Amaanah staff, playing an instrumental role in planning, coordinating, and executing various initiatives, such as educational programs, home transformations, and food drives.

“The Amaanah Ambassadors program is a reflection of the incredible spirit of volunteerism that runs through our organization,” said Mohammad Bayan, Amaanah’s Community Engagement Manager.

“These ambassadors bring energy, ideas, and leadership that will allow us to better serve refugee families. We are confident that this program will help us build stronger connections within the community and mobilize more people to get involved in meaningful ways. Our ambassadors will be the driving force behind our upcoming initiatives, ensuring that every volunteer effort is impactful and reaches those in need.”

Through this initiative, Amaanah Refugee Services aims to create a lasting network of volunteers who are deeply engaged and equipped to lead future generations of community service. The Ambassadors will not only focus on delivering current programs but will also help shape the future of Amaanah’s volunteer efforts by developing new ways to connect with and support refugees.

Looking ahead, Amaanah plans to continue growing the Ambassadors Program, recruiting more leaders who can take on pivotal roles within the organization. By providing training, resources, and leadership opportunities, Amaanah ensures that its ambassadors are empowered to create real change within the community.

As Amaanah continues to expand its services, the involvement of these 13 new Ambassadors marks a significant milestone in the organization’s journey to better serve the refugee community. Their leadership will allow Amaanah to offer more comprehensive support to refugee families, while also building a strong and engaged network of volunteers who are committed to creating positive, lasting change.
