Amaanah Celebrates Veterans Day by Honoring Heroes Who Served Alongside the U.S. Armed Forces

This Veterans Day, Amaanah Refugee Services shines a light on a group of heroes often overlooked in conversations about service and sacrifice: those who stood beside U.S. armed forces overseas, risking everything to support American missions.

These heroes took on critical roles—interpreters, guides, support personnel—in some of the most perilous conditions, saving lives and building lasting bonds between distant communities united in purpose.
